One evening as I was , shutting down the building at work, there was this certain verse that kept repeating, in my thoughts I believe it was of the Holy Spirit”Trust in the Lord, (which is found in the book of Proverbs 3:5-6

5Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

I kept hearing this, but, I failed to take the time to grasp its full meaning. The few days following were really rough,   I was having a hard time sleeping, the next day I was extremely tired, I’m told that this is when the enemy strikes when we are the most venerable and sure enough I gave  into my sexual fleshly desire sin.

I could usually be strong for a couple of weeks, then I would get woken up, after an hour of sleep, I would be so exhausted, I was too weak to resist that was when I would give in to my flesh.  then repent. It was  a continuous cycle

This sin was driving me crazy I, did learn we cannot do this on our own no matter how we try,. The Holy Spirit, reminded me of another verse John 15:5 “  5“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

I was in the habit of marking days on my calendar and was about to put another mark on the calendar, but this time I believe the LORD said “Wait” to let Jesus take over.  I believe the Holy Spirit was telling me on how sin loves the dark  and that I should sleep with  light on.

Some nights I would sleep with the light off so, then I would pray that the LORD would wake me up when my body started acting up.  So on the nights my body would be jerking, I would wake up and switch on the light, this worked for about 5 weeks then something happened and I ended up giving in once again.

Giving into sin is never a good thing, I ended paying for it in the long run, recently, it made me feel so miserable.

The LORD did teach me one thing,though instead of doing all my running around on Saturday and having nothing to do on Sunday, gave the flesh time to act out.   Having something to do is better than not doing anything,
