Prayer

Last evening, when I got home, I checked on my computer. I had let it run while I was at work to do a complete computer recovery.  What this is Basically you are reinstalling the Operating system on the computer, like when you first buy a computer, some might call this a Factory Reset.

i was hoping for the best, Before I left I was having some issues, However, after restarting the computer, it seems the computer wasn’t working correctly, at all. So,  after speaking with a tech from DELL over the phone, it was decided that I should contact another department which wasn’t open until Monday. i unplugged the Ethernet plug from the computer, and had tried to get the computer to start.  I could only  get it to run  in  Safe Mode,
Safe Mode  is used when   you have a virus on your computer, in normal mode the virus is active, however in Safe Mode, the virus becomes inactive so it can be removed. Safe mode is also used in other circumstances, that I will not go into at the moment.

This is done by restarting the computer, then holding down the F-8 key,  then choosing the Safe Mode with Networking.

This Allows you to get access to the internet should you need to update the anti-virus program on your computer.

I woke up the next day feeling so depressed thinking about the computer. if it had worked I intended to watch Skip Heitzig, on Hischannel.com but, since I couldn’t I would probably end up watching it on my small Apple computer, instead of the large screen.

I believe the Holy Spirit was trying to get me, to pray about the situation, but, my thinking at the time was what could God do. I believe  we all get this way, when the Flesh part of us wants to take over. At the time I  felt like God was distant on solving this situation, I guess I was having a lack of faith because of the situation, I just wanted it to work.

That afternoon, I started praying explaining my situation, to God how the computer was not working and how I would have to wait until Monday to speak with someone at DELL, I confessed to the LORD, that I had to remember that this computer is only a machine. After finishing my prayer,  I went into the other room and decided to switch on the computer. I made sure to try the computer  in safe mode and see what could be done.

What I  hadn’t expected to see was the words that I could  “reinstall windows,  by restarting the computer, however not in Safe Mode, I quickly removed the plug from the speakers, the HDMI Cord and the USB for the Printer, and restarted the computer. After awhile the computer was running like normal as when I first opened the box. I guess I just had to have a little faith, like it says in the bible.

In the book of Luke chapter 17 starting at verse 6 it says The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you!

inward man is being renewed day by day.

So, one evening I was reading this verse on a set of bible verse cards I had made for myself, it was the NKJV, version.  I must have read this a few times, but, the Holy Spirit, pointed out something to me, on this particular day  it was like someone had switched on a light, and I learned we have an inner man, so I began to listen to a series from Chuck Missler, called the Bible in 24 hours, I was getting so tired of the flesh always winning and I figured it was the fastest way to get my spirit man stronger.

The verse is from the 2nd book of Corinthians, Chapter 4:16

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

God gets the Glory!!!!

I believe we should all strengthen our inner man and so the flesh or old man will become weaker. God bless.

Persecuted Family

Last evening I was listening to James Kennedy.  I believe the Holy Spirit was working on my heart, as James mentions about the Christians that are being persecuted throughout the world, I began to research, and found just how horrible this really was and found a few websites that I could support. I will post them below along with the sermon from James Kennedy called “Teach us to Pray”.

Broken

As I am driving down this road to work one afternoon, I spotted this man riding a horse, he is holding a rope, which is attached to another horse that is walking behind him, (Could this be how the Lord Leads us, once we become his)

As my mind begins to wonder, I believe the Holy Spirit was speaking to me, before we are saved, we are like a wild horse, that has to be broken, to get back to the way our LORD wants us, so, we can be made pliable.
